Hacking Ways to retrieve game saves on a PS3 HDD from my old HDD

Hey boys and girls

I just recieved a new ps3 slim today. I had fully hacked it using my E3 Flasher. I had also received old ps3 slim from the repairs, unfortunately they could not fix my YLOD issue due to extensive damage to the motherboard. Most of my game save are on my old PS3 Slim 120GB HDD and I was wondering if there were ways to retrieve them without formatting. My old PS3 used Rogero 4.46 with cobra and so does the new one.

Is it possible to use some sort of USB sata driver reader with a pc app that i can use to access the HDD somehow coz all i want is my game saves.

would really appreciate any help

If you had your EID/root key from the old system, then yes. Otherwise no. Without the key, the drive is encrypted and will be unreadable to your PC. And sticking the old drive in new will just format it. Sadly, without the key, the only way to get the saves back is to find a way to boot the old YLoD unit.

May want to look into PS3 Could Drive. Cool little app that sends your saves off to a googledrive account. Can do however often you like, and feel safe that your saves are somewhere else
