I don't put my names on anything I upload. I have a similar username at the ISO/Chaos sites that I use to upload, but I don't upload anything other than the game and I don't put my name on it.

Also, the only things I've even uploaded are VC injects and WarioWare Touched DSi... I don't upload big retail games.

There are some dumps that I've seen with the Temp's name on it, but due to Statute of limitations, they can no longer go after the Temp nor the people who dumped these roms.

it's not that bad.. it's a step up from the pixelly jumble of crap some games do, but i do agree it kills some games, like the ones that use mode7

no.. games are meant to run at 1:1 to the original resolution. And for instance the game boy has a tiny screen, which would make it nearly unplayable.. upscaling it makes pixels or blur, the filter just smooths it
    Examples:

Last one has a filter on it

I personally prefer pixels to blur or smoothing filters. And apparently most people do too, as other game rereleases (eg Nintendo's VC) only use filters as optional features, if at all.

What you need to do is run the emulator at double, triple, etc exact multiple of the original resolution.

Yeah, it's worth mentioning that as a real-life example to prove that this is a bad idea.

It all worked out in the end, but other people might not be as fortunate.

I've had some really good results with filters.

I never got why people threw their names on roms, it's dumb. Like posing on camera while you rob a bank lol.

    there is also this possibility...
i don't know if every ticket or rom game got a unique ID but in case the tickets got a UNIQUE ID
nintendo can see the tickets\roms online, they will compare with their info to know who is the original owner.. and because you used your credit card on nintendo eshop once to get the game, they pretty much got everything...

You guys sure love being off topic.
I would imagine most ROMs are from cartridges, so that wouldn't be a problem, and if someone was a frequent eShop dumper, they'd probably have a separate account just for that exact reason.

I think you're safe with that. Although you can't share SDK brew here, it's really tough to sue for user-generated content even when the tools used to make them were illicitly obtained (can't prove actual damages etc.).

Let them fall for it and let the pirates sink at the bottom of the sea. Gaming world will benefit.
