If I got my hands on a copy, I would pass it around my group of friends until everyone had smea's hack. Afterward, I would go and try to 100% the game. After THAT, I would donate it to someone else...
SPREAD THE HACK!!!
I think the game is required to launch the exploit every time the system is powered off. Not sure if that will work.

I am not sure, I think it installs a homebrew launcher that is always accessible. We'll all find out on the 22nd! Or the preview thread...

I guess I might as well just talk about my 3DS anime website. Once I found out about the 3DS youtube gateway, I decided I should take the opportunity to create an anime website that works on the 3DS. Youtube is pretty bad on the 3DS. Surprisingly, Hulu worked decently. There's a lot of interest in watching anime on the 3DS.

I spent a lot of time over the summer including 5 days straight (with sleep of course) learning more about how to get it run efficiently, etc, adding links manually (working on automating the process). Can't really discuss everything here because it's borderline legal (that's what I've been told from staff members). I've been neglecting my site because I've been busy and the new 3DS has HTML5 support, although I'll get back to it once I set my priorities straight.

As to why I'm interested in 3DS homebrew, I'm interested in becoming a 3DS homebrew developer (although that won't happen for a while. I'm new to programming). I feel like there's a lot more we can do with the 3DS, just like the DS.

Not sure why everyone is being so cynical in this thread. I guess you could lie, but if you do, you should feel ashamed of yourself.

I'm also mixed about devs or deed.

I appreciate that you're doing this!

I once gave my credit card info to a Nigerian Prince.. I'm sure that helped him ;)
In all seriousness, this is pretty tough. I'm sure we all have great stories on how we helped people out and what we do to help people out. We may as well settle it in smash.

Instead of a story, I am gonna just write a MadLib instead.

Just this time of day, I saw a noun who needed help with verb (present tense) their noun, so I verb (past tense) them action. Later on, after verb (present tense) some noun, I came across Neo Draven's thread. Not trying be a complete noun, I verb (past tense) him that he is a very adjective person.

Alright, so the SAVE is the key... Hopefully it can be updated to install to the 3DS... or someone can make a patch to install it to the 3DS... I would still share with friends, just that everyone would need the game... However I don't see why the US eShop version couldn't be used AFTER the exploited save data is installed...

I don't think you're speaking the language of most people these days, Neo Draven. They expect you to just name your price, pretty much. Doing good deeds to get it? That's preposterous!

I'm planning on getting another 3DS XL this Xmas so I guess I could try the homebrew as well

As for my kindest thing? Not sure if it counts but; Last week I was under the awning at the place I pay my rent, it was closed and it was raining and it would open in 10 minutes so I decided to wait, across the road I noticed a woman was taking some stuff from the trunk of her car and she dropped her phone (A Samsung Galaxy S5) and, from what I could tell, a medical receipt paper of some kind and she was entering her car and preparing her car's engine to drive away, from there I had two options:

1- Grab the phone, put it in my pocket and keep it to myself (finders keepers)
2- Grab the phone immediately, do the right thing and give the phone to the lady (don't keep what's not yours) BEFORE those two teenagers see the phone on the floor

Naturally I grabbed the phone and the receipt paper thingy, ran towards her car window (remind you it was raining like hell) and knocked on her car window and gave her phone and medical receipt back, she said thanks and drove off.
Kinda wished I would've received some award cuz that was a 650$ phone but eh, at least someone was happy.

I wanted to actually throw a name out there, just based on contributions to the scene that I have personally witnessed.

Queno138 has put in some serious work and lots and lots of hours into helping others with converting 3DS games to .CIA files. He's got my vote.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
