Tried what I thought would be a simple game: Bucket Knight. Got a few purple addresses, but did not bother trying them...
Counterproductive.
I really wanna make codes for Mercenary Kings, but pointers are irritating. Mercenary Kings is the reason I started even messing with VitaCheat. I can find the stuff I wanna mess with easily, I just need to find the motivation to futz with the multiple dumps and trying codes.
I'm so damn lazy.

I was messing with Garou after our discussion, and either I left off the 1 in 00000001 part of the B200 code, or they don't work. Just a head's up.
I love that game.

The 1 is pretty important. It's what tells vitacheat to use seg1 instead of seg0.

Also, games showing 0 gold addresses is a pretty good sign that it's got that shifted DMA thing going on, unfortunately. If you want, you can zip the dumps and upload them to Gdrive or something for me and I'll take a look at them in HxD.

These codes are made for MAIdump version of game, so will not work on NND/Gamecart. You can dump the game with Maidumptool and install it on your memory card. There's some tutorials for that around on google.

Or, there's always making new codes.

IC. Well, as far as making a code for inf jump, if you can find an address that locks your vertical speed/gravity, then yes. Or, maybe even an address that is supposed to be an "on-ground" or "In-air" flag.

And the Body Type is good. But I noted the Comments for certain types, so I left mine at 00 (Normal)

I tried looking at trying to make a Enable Debug Menu, but that did not work out so well. It would have brought up a Sub-Menu to Enable Options in the Debug.

Don't have the game installed, so didn't test at all. XD

I was actually just trying to convert old codes from Pugsy's DB to vita. Looks like the conversion isn't 100% accurate, but it is close enough to get in the right area and try the bytes around it. Then again, Pugsy has 3 or 4 Metal Slug 3 games listed, so maybe I just picked the wrong one.

Debug menu used the physical DIP switches on original hardware. I'm not sure if these are emulated or not.... but if my same method works, try looking around this area: seg1 + 002B99BF‬ or 002BA741‬

Try FFFF for the infinite ammo code. It'll sometimes show up as the infinity symbol.

No. Memory dumps are useful for finding pointers, but we would still need the code's addresses first.

Im pretty sure your codes are not static.
You will need definitely pointer/s.
I tried to find codes in the past on this game but all codes were non-static and also pointers were a pain in the a.. .

Been busy, late reply but

Sometimes people go through the forum and add things. I'll also add them if someone messages me their codelist. If you want to guarantee it get's on the DB, go to the github and open an Issue. There's a form to fill out for submissions.

It seems like we may need something a bit different than github as a vitacheat database, seeing as vitacheat has a code limit and a lot of new codes are being posted.
