I'm familiar with how to find the pointers... I did that with SAO and a couple other games that had this issue. What I didn't realize until now is how prevalent this kind of shifting memory was.... Now that I have 6 dumps in TempAR I expect to see at least a few matches that are pink/red/orange... but if I only see green/blue results, I can usually figure out which addresses are for which region. There's probably a conditional you'd need to find, like the codes for the God of War Collection, or back in the day, Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles.
Or, perhaps, you're looking for a pointer to the pointer.
Say you're playing, you find the whatever value, right? Whatever happens and the memory region changes. So, if you already have the pointer for each region, search for the change in region.
Search for unknown value > search equal however many times > memory region for code changes, so search for change > search equal however many times > memory region changes, rinse repeat.
I'm sure it'd take an ungodly amount of time, but it would be theoretically doable.
I also had to sit there for about an hour doing the Unknown value->Unchanged value->Changed value-> crap..... It sucks... Especially when it's an 8bit item you're looking for.... Finding how to unlock items that hadn't been collected yet in YsVIII required that crap. The problem is that some games only swap mem region on startup... so vitacheat can't find a change in value.
