Hacking Upgrading from 5.50 prome-2

Hi all,

I have a psp 2002 which has 5.50 prome-2 on it.
Just wondering how i can go about updating this to the latest hacked firmware?
Can someone please explain what is the highest ofw that i can hack.

Go get prome-4. Then you will be on latest firmware.

Run the Prome-4 updater.

There are 6.x firmwares, but they lose some compatibility with PSX games. Is that okay?
