Long time reader, first time poster.
Just bought myself a wii u (the super mario & luigi bros bundle) and mario kart 8. Now is there a way to setup my console and account, download the luigi dlc and redeem and dowload my free game from mario kart without updating?

Cheers for the reply anyway. I guess 5.0 it is, not the end of the world. Just disable the IP's on my router afterwards
