I can accept changing the character, I just find the motivations and logic to make literally no sense. It came out of nowhere and completely contradicts every single game before this one. Following the external factors, it’s very apparent that they made the story of the most recent game go either way and went with the most popular opinion on Twitter, story be damned. I am not opposed to ever changing a character but at least make it make sense when you do. Literally every single game was about him coming to terms with being a guy, even confident in that fact. Suddenly making him doubt all of that progress with no motivation or reason is bad story telling. So to me, femboy storyline was far more compelling, the trans storyline was just for twitter points.
