Is this the reason why I'm getting this message when I tried to re-install Themehax...

"Invalid HTTP content-size 0x0000a468. Failed to download the actual payload with HTTP: 0xfffffffd.
Install failed: 0xfffffffd.
Press the START button to exit."

Still the same even if I get the latest Themehax installer & boot.3dsx file.

For whatever reason, the installer is trying but failing to find the payloads online. It is for this reason you need to use the offline installer supplied in the OP to install themehax. Keep in mind however, it's only installing 2.1 so you'll have to follow the steps still to install 2.5

OK, so I'll use the offline installer then?

Another question though... is this Homebrew e-Shop always forever taking to load? (This was the reason why I tried to uninstall Themehax & re-installing it again because I though I have to re-install it to access Homebrew e-Shop).

Yes, use the offline installer and then follow the steps in the OP. The reason the eShop app's taking forever is because it's trying to run in 2.1, not 2.5 and fails. While you may have the apps, you don't have the new payload and so it's still on 2.1

You'll know you've successfully installed 2.5 if your boot screen flashes a green screen, otherwise you're probably still on 2.1

Is it possible to put it in my 3ds folder and boot it like a homebrew if so where do I put the boot.3dsx I'm on 10.1.
EDIT: Nevermind I didn't refresh the page for the solution.

Is it possible to put it in my 3ds folder and boot it like a homebrew if so where do I put the boot.3dsx I'm on 10.1.

For example: Let say after you install themehax 2.5, you have 2 different versions of Homebrew Launcher boot.3dsx. You need to rename them to Ninjhax2.1_boot.3dsx and Ninjhax 2.5_boot.3dsx. Then put both renamed files onto root of SD. Put boot.3dsx of boot manager and config file in the zip you download from https://gbatemp.net/threads/ctrbootmanager-3ds-boot-manager-loader-homemenuhax.398383/ onto root of sd, too. Don't rename this boot manger boot.3dsx. Then edit the config file to something like this.

// Boot menu configuration
boot_config =
{
// Default timeout in secondes
// If timeout = -1, disable autoboot
timeout = 5;

// Some devices (n3ds?) seems to have
// some timing problems when using timeout=0 (autoboot).
// You may increase this value to improve boot success rate.
// Default delay (150) should be good for o3ds.
autobootfix = 150;

// if timeout = 0 (autoboot),
// hold this key to enter the menu
// keycode list : https://goo.gl/4XLDIL
recovery = 2; // SELECT

// Default boot entry
default = 0;

// Boot menu entries (11 max)
entries =
(
{
title = "Homebrew Menu Ninjhax 2.1";
path = "/Ninjhax2.1_boot.3dsx";
},
{
title = "Homebrew Menu Ninjhax 2.5";
path = "/Ninjhax 2.5_boot.3dsx";
}
);
};

Then save this config file. Trigger themehas should boot you into boot manager menu to choose to boot between HBL versions.

Please note, at the moment, Themehax support for custom theme is still under development, so may not work. You should do your own research. I don't use maShers ( don't have my own 3DS) so have no idea how to use theme with it.

OK reinstalled using the Offline Themehax Installer... works fine.
Thanks @Pandaxclone2 :)

Now the only thing left is what configuration must I use before I go to Homeshop.
Before I'll go there, I'm in this HANS settings screen first. Which settings must I use?

Here's the default screen... (BTW I'm using a 2DS)

Region: USA
Language: ---
FW Version Spoof: No
N3DS CPU clock: 268 MHz
Code -> SD: No
Romfs -> SD: No
Save configuration: No
Current title: (Some bunch of numbers)

Have FW Version Spoof on and save configuration on. That's about all there is to it.

I am using the themehax release from here with my n3DS 9.9.0-26E.

Downloading:
Overwriting:
  • I overwrited the boot.3dsx from the archive to sd.
  • I overwrited the menuhax_ropbinpayload.bin from pc to sd.
Launching:
  • I booted the console holding L to start themehax.
  • It results that topscreen was glitchy, and botscreen was white.

What did I do wrong?

Edit: I made a backup, and if I transfer the old boot.3dsx and the old menuhax_ropbinpayload.bin using the microSD manager, it works again.

This tutorial will become inert once yellows8 makes his themehax installer work with 2.5, but for now here is how you can get 2.5 working through themehax manually.

  1. First you must go to Smea's 3DS site here, http://smealum.github.io/3ds/ and download the new starterkit and your system ropbin payload which you can get by inputting your system update, region and 3DS type. If you can't find the starterkit, here is the link: https://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/starter.zip
  2. Next, you'll need to extract the contents of the starterkit.zip and place it into the root of your SD card.(You can use WinZip/WinRar/whatever equivalent of a zip program you have for this) This should replace your old boot.3dsx and 3ds folder, but don't worry; whatever apps you have in there should be safe. If you wish, you can make a backup of your SD card contents in case.
  3. Now rename your ropbin payload to "menuhax_ropbinpayload.bin" and place it in the root of your SD card. If you get an overwrite file message, that's normal; we're replacing the older payload with a new one, so click the replace option. For N3DS users, it's best to just copy the name of the menuhax file you have installed already and rename your payload according to that.
  4. Boot up themehax and if you see a green screen, that's an indication you now have 2.5 installed! Congratulations!
If for whatever reason you don't have themehax installed or uninstalled it, you can still get it back at this time by using the offline installer. Keep in mind that you'll need a second hax to install this. Also keep in mind that this offline installer installs 2.1 only and is intended as a way to re-install themehax to usable condition.

Here is the offline installer: https://t.co/3oAwnrleZo

Things this tutorial probably needs:
  • A video explaining the steps here.
  • Maybe some images.
  • A better writer than I. (Ok, jk for that last one.)
Thanks to:
@enhasa for supplying steps to installing the ropbin payload on n3DS systems.

so for shortcut for those who already have themehax before is:
a. download the otherapp hax to update ropbin payload
b. download the starterkit

if i already installed the "no hold L to boot on HBL" (autoboot) before on 2.1
it will still work if i do the steps a & b that i mentioned. am i right?

For n3DS users the renaming method differs. Unfortunately I do not have an n3DS so I can't help much on that, but if you can get themehax installed again through the offline installer you should rename your downloaded ropbin payload after the menuhax file in the root of your SD card.
