Hacking Trouble Updating official Firmware to 5.5.1

So I've been trying different internet settings to update my firmware but I keep running into a 108 error. I thinking it's my router and my connection type is wpa aes. I'm also on spoofed firmware. So if the kernel exploit is finished will I still be able to use it on 5.3.2 since I'm having trouble updating?

The kernel exploit is finished and you have used it. The IOSU exploit that is out will only work on 5.5.X. Make sure your not using tubehax and turn off all blocking on your router.

Well my tubehax is off. Also doesn't seem like I blocked anything on the router.

I tried last week and I had the same problem. It's probably maintenance. Wasted probably 2 hours.
