Hacking triiforce mrc

I've looked at the Triforce compatibility wiki and it doesn't seem to have the info I am looking for. Does anyone know if there is a list of titles that require the game to be installed (or have a save file) prior to the NAND dump to work?

Triiforce mrc v9 (emulated NAND from SD card) not working using Waninkoko's new Rev19 CIOS.

It was working great in Rev17, I had 8 games all showing up with pics and playable. Now Triiforce just says ERROR No Titles Found when loaded

Mine says that 80% of the time in Rev17.

I have 4 games showing up with triforce mrc. Island adventure and My dolphins (lol) doesn't start.

under rev19, it only shows a few of the titles. first time it was 4 and it showed the images. the next time it was 2 with no images. reverted back to rev17, all my images and forwarders work...yay! is there any idea of a release time frame for the newer triiforce mrc compatible with rev19 and wifi? just curious its cool if you cant say.

CIOS rev19 doesn't show the images, and doesn't launch the title, giving a bunch of ES_XXXXX errors instead.
I'm using the latest Triiforce mrc (auto USB) v9.

Probably a silly suggestion, but if it @ all possible it'd would be nice: If it is possible could triforce read what the Wii has downloaded from the shop-channel (regardless of weather it's on the NAND or not) and make those games playable? --- I have downloaded @ lest 1.2 GB from the shop channel and it's somewhat crappy (lack of a better word) that I can't see every game I've downloaded (in triforce).

While on that thought (subject), could triforce read the private folder on a SD(HC) card or a USB device? Would either of these idea's be possible?

I ran into the same problem with a 1.5tb Western Digital Drive.
No matter how I set it up, the drive works with everything except any version of Triiforce. Without fail, any variation of triiforce would give the "can't find title list" error.
I finally just gave up and stuck with the 1tb Maxtor drive I've been using.

I hate to ask again but nobody has had any answers and i'm not the only one with this problem. These are guotes..

My 1.5 tb external seagate freedesk just will not work with triiforce mrc.

I made a 30gb fat32 partition. I made it using diskpart (disk manager in
win7 likes to put some empty space in front of the first partition).
This partition is the first and only partition.
This partition is marked active.

This part is crazy: I can load up the SS USB ONLY version, and triiforce
WILL start up (so it's able to read the hd at first). Unfortunately, it
gives the "I can't find title list" error.
I get the same result when running the MULTICONSOLE sd version.

More crazy: I can use my maxtor 300gb external with no problem, using
exactly the above steps (making a 30gb partition in diskpart). I even
copied the contents of the maxtor directly to the seagate, to make sure I
had the same setup. Triiforce also works with my 4gb usb stick no problem.
I only have problems with this 1.5tb seagate.

Furthermore, I know the seagate is supported by ios222(usb loader gx works)
and ios249(nes fce works).

I would appreciate any other tips guys. Thank you for your time, and the

I'm having the same problem but but with 2tb drive. works on my 1tb fine but not 2tb.

That seems to be the problem...Is this REALLY the only partition on the drive? So you have 320 GB fat32 and the other 1.2TB is just unallocated space? very good job, that is what i would recommend as well.

Very simple formula here, 2 partitions. 1 FAT32, use a good program to format (like EASEUS partition manager) and make the FAT32 primary and active. other partition can be whatever.

Strange issue with cIOS38rev19. I loaded a game, it actually gave me about 7 titles this time, still with no images of course. But it said I don't have enough blocks to make save data...my fat32 partition is about 75GBs with about 25GB taken up. I guess Maboshi arcade has a 50+GB save file. Damn.

My forwarding ISOs do not work as well. I hope we get a fix. Looking forward to Triiforce MRC v10

Just installed 19.
It gives me a huge number of errors before loading my games.
When they load, only 3 or 4 display the actual titles. All the others just show the 4 digit title id.
When I try to load any of them, the screen shows a garble of green, static and code dump.

lol - says the person who, judging by their posts in the CFG Loader thread, has no problem using an app whose main purpose is to play illegal backups !!! And yes, even if you own the original game, the backup is still illegal.

ciosX rev 19 with a base of 37 gives a "* ERROR: No titles found" message. I'm using triiforce MRC v9 greenscreenfix...the auto-USB boot one.


Oh, and I have a minimal NAND dump...'t was enough to load the 10 wiiware games I have under rev 17.

EDIT: did a second test with triiforce MRC v9 (the non-auto USB one). It was able to display the games on my real nand (monkey island Episode 1), but that failed to launch (error ES_idenitfy (ret=-1029) ). However, since I haven't tested that one with rev17, I can't say whether the update has anything to do with it.

I used 57 as a base and I get "loading all titles" but nothing happens from there. Need to do a hard reset.

I have to ask this again. I'm hoping that one of the programmers sees this and can figure out the problem. There have been a few more reports about triiforce not working on drives bigger that 1tb. I'm wondering if anyone has gotten it to work on a 1.5 or 2tb drive. If so what kind of drive did you use and did you have to do anything different than the normal loading methods. Thanks.
BTW, the 1.5 and 2tb drives that are giving us the problems are working fine with all other apps.

No, at least for now.
The only important game that has different names in PAL countries is Dr. Mario.

But it will download the region console image (PAL, NTSC, JPN...).

Are you using rev18 of cIOS and a SDHC card?

no cIOS rev 14 and 1Go SD card
