long story short: my 3DS has suffered the crappy engineering build of the 3DS scratching itself from the bottom bevel to the top screen problem. I called Nintendo and I was treated to some classic OoT music and then a very nice woman gave me an RMA number to send it in. Can anyone tell me what their experience was like with them? i'm a little afraid because...
- I have used a flashcart on it.
- I have had a previous mishap with Nintendo when it came to fixing the (not hinge) but Shoulder button on my DS LITE was out. REFURBISHMENT HELL.
*first Lite unit replacement was always "touching" the top right hand corner of the screen. so therefore useless.
* Second lite the sound was fuzzy after a week use.
* Third lite replacement Was the worst. it FROZE when the start button was pushed. even when not in a game and in the DSL menu.
* 4TH and FINAL one. They finally gave me a new DSL.
the woman told me that was a VERY rare occurrence, and said that usually doesn't happen
what's not to say the same crap could happen again?....has anyone else sent their 3DS to Nintendo to fix this inexcusable problem?...how long did it take?...did you actually get your SAME 3DS back. or was it someone Else's refurbished shit. my RMA label expires in 30 days. it's been about 2-3 weeks since I got it.
Thanks
