"ITS TALES. 'Nuff said"

Are the other Tale games really good? I heard from people that Zestiria was a meh button smashing game, so I'm not sure whether to play it or just watch the anime
I played through abyss and liked it alot. Ive played other tales games as well and they are in no way a button smashing game. I think the active battle system is what has drawn me to the series.

Heres about 20 minutes of beginning gameplay. But there is a ton to do in this game and id highly recommend checking it out Ignore the guys commentary.

1.Dragon Quest Monsters 2
2.Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 3
3.Tales of the Abyss
4.Tales of Reve Unitia
5.Persona Q
6.Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates (i'll count both the same as they play very similarly)
7.Dragon Quest : theatrhythm
8. Etrian Odyssey (all of the titles XD)
9.Bravely Second
10. as i mostly play JRPGS thus you see mostly RPGs in my list, i will give 10 to the jump'n run games e.g Mario/DK/Kirby etc. i play those too for fun.

i like zelda but i am not a big fan of the series, as i tend to get stuck pretty often in every zelda game i have played haha.

honorable mentions Dragon Quest 7 and 8 < these 2 would top my list if they were out already.
looking forward to the release.

Edit: i forgot one more, i cant 'not' love Rune Factory 4 ( i paid over 50$ for my copy, its a sweet game )

Shin Megami Tensei IV

Fire Emblem: Awakening (didn't like Fates too much)

Zelda remakes

Zelda: Link Between Worlds

Pokemon X/Y/OR/AS

Mario Kart 7

Super Smash Bros

The games I played most from that list are SMT IV and Pokemon Y.

I don't play that many games, so I don't really have a top 10. I like ORAS & X/Y, Super Smash Bros and Super Mario 3D Land... Kirby Triple Deluxe is neat as well... but since nobody mentioned it yet:

Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon. Almost as good explorers.

Vesperia is pretty good. I have 100+ hours on it. A lot of content and side quests, new game + and stuff. This was one of the reasons for me to buy the 360 and I won't regret it.

My about top 10 [emoji28]

1) Ace Attorney Trilogy: Never played them on DS despite being acustomed with adventure games in general. Story wise imo they totally embarass Bioware's ME trilogy and thats coming from someone who has replayed these games countless times.

2) FE: Awakening: Another series first for me. Unlike no.1, story isn't a strong selling point, but the gameplay is beyond addictive.

3) Starfox 64 3D: I played it only for a few hours when the OG came out. It amazes me that I learn something new about the gameplay after so many playthroughs.

4) Boxboy : I love puzzle games and this is a great one. The last worlds are pretty chalenging as well.

5) ALBW: Pretty fun topdown Zelda, it needed more challenging dungeons.

6) Shovel Knight: I really enjoyed this retrosidescroller both on PC and 3DS.

7) Bravely Default : Pretty decent JRPG ( at least for the first half ), but the soundtrack steals the show.

8) Pokemon Alpha Sapphire: It is my first pokemon game since gen 2 and It turned out to be a pretty ok time waister. Given how simplified the campaign was, I am not interested at all for X/Y or S/M.

9) Mario 3D Land: The first good portable 3D Mario game I've played.

10) 3D Zelda Remakes: I've already played them, so I can't really rank them higher.

I cant justify $1k+ on a nice ass phone. I can spend that on a 75" tv screen. Why a 6" screen device cost me the same? lol

Nah a phones going to always be more powerful than a TV if the TVs $2grand maybe but why when I can put a smaller device in my pocket that does basically everything a TV already does

I can justify a decent $800 smartphone that'll last 3 years when I could get a 65" TV for $400 and buy a decent micro computer for $100 more

Tbf there are decent $400 smartphones in today's market that make top end spec phones unjust it's just what you want
