Tom smelled fishy with his perfect performance, maybe he did use prerecordings?
or maybe hes still got it after all these years.

who cares. it sounded fine to me.

well, maybe if you actually attended the bowl you might feel shortchanged, but no problem back here in australia.

Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers have put out good music consistently throughout their carrier, so what if they lip synced for a bunch of drunk football fans.

Tom Petty's tunes aren't exactly breathtaking. I love his music, but no one would ever claim it takes extreme vocal or musical talent to kick out the jams he has over his career. It's all been a product of a lazy hippie, so it's something he can maintain for a lifetime.

So disappointed that he didn't play Learning To Fly.

Nuh that's not lip-syncing IMO. He's just got mad effects going I reckon.

JPH: I'd feel short changed if he really did lip-sync. You go to see the actual band play not listen to a recording.

I hope not. The first album I bought my parents didn't like was TP. I still have a soft spot for him and can sing a lot of their songs from memory. He's a great musician and I would lose a lot of respect for him if he did lip sync.

We had our grandkids over yesterday and I got a small above ground swimming pool I filled for them to play in. Well today I woke to find 3 ducks swimming around in it. Don't mind really but they are annoyingly loud, quack quack. Gotta drain it today. Guess what were having for dinner, lol.

I used butter instead of vegetable oil, and think that's why they squirted out during baking, who knows

yeah i think oil is the right call

plus if you're making brownies or lava cakes for people with dairy allergies, you should use oil instead of butter anyway
