I know people don't dick around when it comes with homebrew on a nintendo console but, why do people have all these surveys and some just fool you with the files but, give a text file that makes you do a survey to unlock the zip... its just stupid and unnecessary compared to how the 3ds/wii communities share their files... is there a cfw/jailbreak on 4.07 or not??

I think those surveys are fake. It's just a bunch of ads and some fake file if you did all ads?
Atleast that's the case with fake emulators.

We have before. I remember back in the day someone made a thread with a 9.9 exploit that lead to a bunch of surveys. It was closed and removed pretty quickly.

why haven't we gotten this kind of bull shit with the 3ds community?? (I don't want it, just wondering why)

Probably due to demographic. Scammers seem to think the 3DS is a kiddie's toy when the majority of players are aged teens to adults.

then why am I searching so hard for a cfw??? 3ds cfw is around the corner... and ps4 is pretty much an entrance with smoke and mirrors...

Let me put this for you.

1.76 and below are hacked and will most likely get a CFW.
Everything above that to 4.05 have a good chance.
4.07 will never get hints for a very long time.

You just strolled right into my trap
I activate my trap card, seven tools of the bandit. Now if i pay up 1000 of my LIKE POINTS I can negate your trap card. :P

On serious note. I think any survey related to cfw is all fake, don't do it. Your email will be flooded with spam and you may want a new one rather than try to clean it all. Not many email provider have good spam blocker and filters. :unsure:

    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    @SylverReZ,
    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.

OK no problem the issue is he would download DBZ movies and they where amazing usually like 2-8KB in size lol can't remember how many times I had to format and reinstall windows over his stupidity. I even explained to him about file sizes multiple times...
