Thinking about getting a Xbox and modding it (again)

To be fair it is only keys, and a copy of the stock dash if you want to save yourself a few minutes, which is the sort of thing you can attach to an email. Compared to several hundred megs of NAND image it is almost foolish not to have such things.

Then suit yerself if yer HDD dies and you've got no backup of the HDDkey nor the original HDD.

I own a soldering iron and about a dozen Xbox's, half of them flashed but that wasn't my point, yes it is easier IF you know how to solder and flash but OP was asking about soft mod and you keep bringing up TSOP flashing, why?

If I kept the original HDD after replacing it, can I use it to clone to a new drive if my current replacement dies? I guess I'm asking if I can use either drive to clone in the future if I need to.
