That's a really shitty way of doing it...Even better, make a ram editing homebrew tool that removes the need to decrypt/calculate any checksum.
Why? Is it not more convenient to do it that way? Especially considering the decryption method probably isn't publicly available, at least from what i've seen. That's a really shitty way of doing it...
The decryption method is publicly available, you just need to know where to lookWhy? Is it not more convenient to do it that way? Especially considering the decryption method probably isn't publicly available, at least from what i've seen.
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend posting a link to it here...Even better, use the released save editor that can decrypt/encrypt the save:

which key ?Yeah, I wouldn't recommend posting a link to it here...
The keys are baked into the assembly, which is naughty!
Looking into the (crappily) obfuscated assembly, it appears both the decryption and signing key are stored as plaintext.which key ?
I don't think that how it actually work.Looking into the (crappily) obfuscated assembly, it appears both the decryption and signing key are stored as plaintext.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
The game doesn't use any "warez" key, I checked teh function in the NSO
Just give it time, there will likely come a script or batch file to automate most of that for us. :3Simple.
Decrypt it, edit it, reencrypt it, calculate the new checksum and append it to 0x08.
?They are not though? There are no keys hardcoded, neither in the NSO nor in the tool. And there are 9 "partitions", so I guess you overlook more than you want to
smart way to get info about how it really works lmao?
Umm, yeah, the save is encrypted with a key.
I don't think that how it actually work.

The keys are stored in the NSO, you can see exactly how it stores the save.
It stores data in 4 "partitions":
"SaveDataCmn", "SaveDataVss", "SaveDataLocal" and "SaveDataMsn".
How to be an OctoGirl of DLC? pleaseThey are not though? There are no keys hardcoded, neither in the NSO nor in the tool. And there are 9 "partitions", so I guess you overlook more than you want to
Is your brain in your middle toe?smart way to get info about how it really works lmao
no need to spread fake news tho
