PSP? Count me in mate.

The PSP is a great hardware, as is the DS. Both systems have their pros and cons, and just because I enjoy one system doesn't necessarily mean I should hate the other

I support the PSP, brought my 1000 not long after it first came out but only put CFW on it about 2 months ago, so now I love it even more. Although must admit I didn't touch it for months because of lack of good games and having a flashcart on my DS but now with piracy I think I use it more than the DS.
My only grumble is it not very good during the day when it's to bright, makes some games really hard to see.

I support the PSP.

Really, continually reading 'there are no good games' is such bullshit. The PSP is jam packed with amazing games. You could say the same thing about the DS, with the piles of shovelware being released every week. But you see, at the end of the day, I don't compare the two systems, because about the only thing they have in common is that they're portable game systems.

The PSP kicks ass, and anyone that stayed just on the Nintendo train and stuck their nose up at the PSP has missed out.

I've got a PSP since something like launch, and I haven't enjoyed more than something like 5 games on it. Most of them are just mediocre and/or ports.

The last one I've really enjoyed was Half-Minute Hero (great game!).

Nonetheless, I'm going to buy a PSP Slim (one of the hackable ones) soon to finally substitute the old one (I'm a PSP-homebrew fanatic, I use it mostly as a eBook reader and for the really great emulators)

I guess you can count me in, even if I don't like the games on it (at least the majority of them)

For years I was one of those, "The PSP sucks, long live the DS," types. Eating up everything the DS threw at me and looking down on the inferior PSP. Oh how foolish I was back then. I wasn't wrong about the DS. It truly is one of the greats in gaming. But once I'd finally gotten my hands on a PSP I was a changed man. A vast catalogue of good games (I don't understand those that say there aren't many good games on the PSP) and good quality homebrew. Awesome.

So yes, I support the PSP.

The main reason why the PSP Community is small on here is because most of the site's interest are focused on Nintendo products. It's a shame, since the PSP scene has so much to offer.

The PSP can be found real cheap if you look in the right places. It's also quite easy to intsall custom firmware. There are thousands of applications and games that the PSP scene have made. The emulators are great as well. You can also play PS1 games with full emulation. I'd recommend getting one, there are some great games on there too.

I support the PSP.

However, I do not support the PSPGo. And I don't think anyone ever should.
