We truly need an XD sequel. That game got too much hate when it came out but by now I hope people have learned better

Really? I played Colosseum when it was fairly recent, I think a year or two after its release, and I enjoyed it. I hadn't played XD until 2014, and that was also enjoyable, probably moreso than Colosseum because of the prize Johto starters, more exclusive moves like a Tri-Attack Togepi or Baton Pass Zapdos. I tried going back to Colosseum some time after and, thanks to being spoiled with Gen VI gaming, it's pretty hard. No control over natures, the lack of training for a while to boost your pokemon's levels. I'd love for that on NX, but I'd also love for a Battle Revolution/Stadium kind of game. Stadium was the first Pokemon game I ever played. It'd be amazing to do big screen battles at 1080p 60fps...errr, 900p? Anyways, it would still rock.

I liked Snap, Sun/Moon though seems to have a feature where you take pictures of pokemon while on your journey, so maybe that's a spiritual successor to that game.

Snap was great, but a sequel would probably need quite a lot of content. Snap is pretty short except if you REALLY can't find the hidden figure thingies.

I couldn't have said this better myself. Should we make threads on how nintendo plans to *sell* the NX? On how it will make these things called *games*?

I also don't see how "a home console device or a hand-held device" implies (let alone confirms) anything. It's the same vagueness all the known info consists of. But I guess it's more fun to read random gossip and draw self-claimed conclusions based on pretty much nothing than waiting.

TBH, the quote given doesn't convince me that the NX is a hybrid. If anything, it's giving me a vibe when game devices began including video streaming, or able to play DVDs or audio CDs, or even using discs in the first place to offer games CD-quality audio and FMVs.

Or, it can even be something as simple as both home console and handheld using the same medium other than digital. In this case, the use of cartridges/cards, where one is technically superior to produce great visuals in the home, but the other is for on-the-go.
