Announced today alongside the final character reveal for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was that Kingdom Hearts is coming to the Nintendo Switch. Three titles will be available, letting you catch up on all the series lore: Kingdom Hearts I.5+II.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts II.8, and Kingdom Hearts III. These games will utilize cloud streaming to be playable on the Switch, rather than be straight up ports to the console. No release date was given.

Streaming isnt't an option for me. And the console is to weak to get a full expirience.
Why should I pay for a crappy 720p@30 fps port when I can play it in 4K@60 fps and the whole ps4 collection is really cheap.
There is absolutely no reason why you should play this on :switch:

If more countries had better infrastructure that would support cloud gaming with ease then I would be all for it since the PC at the other end of the line could be crazy powerful (someone in this thread mentioned it earlier) not to mention it would reduce electronic waste a sizable amount, better for the environment. But at this point in time we simply aren't ready for cloud gaming yet as it is still very inaccessible for a large amount of people.

It means some dubious PC in nomandsland is "playing" the game,
then sends you video&audio and reacts to your keypresses.

Just imagine the lags...
This is what you can expect of this "solution"
(SE sofar brought Control and Hitman, which both fared terrible what makes em think this'll do better ?)

Also this won't even be available in all countries.
Let that sink in.

I wonder if this was merly a stunt by SE to gauge interest.
No matter where I go, no matter the language spoken.
Most responses are 98/2 against SE.

If I were them I'd pull a
"Ahahaha we were just kidding. Just 177 days till april fools ! "

Yeah no.

PS:
Remember that even if you "bought" the game, during "peak" usage times you might get places in a queue...
Good luck with even playing then.n

Oh boy cloud versions of PS2 and PSP remakes. With the proper work KHIII could probably work too. It'll be ugly (or remade models and textures) with toned down effects but the Switch could probably handle it. But it's Squeenix who thought that porting the incredibly stripped down mobile version of FF XV to the Switch was a good idea.

I haven't tried enough cloud games on the switch to know if this is good or not, but I don't see why the first few ones even need this.

I don't expect nothing. What I mean is (how much you pay and what you get for your money).
You can get the "Kingdom Hearts All-in-One Package" which is a retail version for $40. You pay it once and you can play whenever you want and the game belongs to you. Correct me if I'm wrong but the switch version can't give you all these advantages.

None of them, indeed. Also: if theese are the PC versions they'll have the same problems. Most of them are already solved, but you still can expect some crashes in KH2 and KH3D, so... Yeah, just forget this lame console and buy a PC or any other console...

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.
