Actually, i managed to write a python script using PIL's Image module that does successfully compress the snapshots into the range comparable to other snapshots, and it looks fine on windows, but on the wii they all look like this:

If i implement a method with far less compression, it displays on the wii but it's still nearly twice the size of comparable snapshots.
@Wiimpathy mind reposting what you use?

I've used this tool to compress png : https://github.com/kornelski/mediancut-posterizer
There's a windows versions in 'releases'.

I've used these commands in scripts:

Screenshots

posterize -Q 80 input.png "SNAPFOLDER/SNAP_NAME.png"

Carts/disks

posterize -b -Q 90 input.png "CARTFOLDER/CART_NAME_2D.png"

The posterizer is the tool used to compress carts/cd images. Maybe the windows isn't as efficient but it sounds strange.
When those images were created, Wiiflow was less tolerant regarding png formats. You could use other tools such as pngcrush, optipng etc... Some have a gui or a windows equivalent.

RA REminiscence/Flashback - Added

Hmm, what am I doing wrong? The correct RetroArch DOL starts for me, but the screen remains black. Even if I select one of the levels from the RetroArch via "Load content".
The very same procedure works with RetroArch for Linux and the REminiscence ROM dir from plugins pack..

I just ran this again to make sure everything is working, good for me, I'm not sure what is causing black screen on your end.

Are you using SD, USB or combo? You are using the REminiscence .dol file from the plugins pack and not an updated RA .dol? The Flashback.game file is in the ROMS/REminiscence folder correct?

I copied snes9xgx to my HDD. which can be found in wiiflow/plugins/SNES/snes9xGX
I can easily open roms through wiiflow and snes9xgx will start.
However after a certain amount of time when i enter the menu from snes9xgx, it will show that there is no connection with the wiimote on the down left corner.
I can still move my cursor around but when i try to click buttons snes9xgx they don't seem to work.
When i install SNES9xgx in apps and open it in hbc it has no problems whatsoever on my hdd.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?

I can't download the 2023 pack, all my browsers and download managers block the download because it supposedly contains a virus, not even deactivating windows defender I can download it.

If firefix or chrome are blocking the download you can pressing CTRL+J choose to ignore the blocking and download it

Are you able to download the Extras and/or Plugins Pack V14 without issues?

This virus detection has been reported a handful of times over the past 2 years with total downloads nearing 15,000. I can assure you it is a false positive.

Hey everyone. While updating mGBA this morning, i noticed emGBA was not centering the display correctly, off centered to the right.

I fixed the issue by adding my personal arguments, however i do not use the border/overlay that is included by default.

When launching a game using the default overlay, the game display will overlap the border. To fix this, the user must change ini argument (--zoom=2.8) to something like 2.4 or 2.5 until you are satisfied.

I uploaded the ini argument fixes here and added the mgBA update also. Just drag/drop and overwrite.

I also uploaded 4 previous SS-HEXAECO cores you can drag/drop if you want these cores agaIn (Gambatte, mGBA, FCEUmm, Nestopia).

These changes have been merged with the 2023 Plugins Pack, not the V14 pack though

It will automatically restart WII, but there is no problem with WII game exit and can return to wiiflow. Does anyone know what the problem is?
