Have you ever wondered what Terraria would be like if it had the music of Undertale?
Neither have I tbh.

So here's the answer!

Info:

I've replaced every single piece of music from the 3DS version of Terraria with fitting Undertale tracks, and the result is pretty awesome!

The main game has been left intact, all I've changed are the music, logo, banner, and icon.

Looks pretty interesting! Is there a way to patch Terraria with luma instead of using HANS or reinstalling it?
I think there's a way to load custom RomFS in latest nightly releases of Luma, but I haven't looked into it much, and I don't know whether it's stable for everyday use yet or not. Terraria is only around 50MB big, so it'll only take like a minute to install.
Also, everyone should be aware that Terraria's save is saved in the ExtData, so even if you delete/reinstall the game, your save file will be left intact.

I've checked the "commits" page on github and found that the RomFS redirecting feature was introduced two months ago(a few days later after the last release). There aren't any more commits to update this feature after that. I think this feature is supposed to be reliable? Maybe they will include it in the next release.

Horrendous write times. Otherwise, perfect.

EDIT: nvm 3ds was acting up. Could I make a few suggestions, though?
1. Spider Dance for some of the bosses. This, to me, feels like a song that works with many bosses. Because of the fast-paced tempo, could I recommend using this instead of Bergentruckung for Boss 5 (Queen Bee + Ocram)?
2. Bergentruckung moved to Boss 2 (the Destroyer + BoC). See above.
3. Remove the creepy, modified Best Nightmare. Uuuuuuugh.

How do I download this? I can't find any links on the page.
Oh wow, this is a blast from the past. Well, now that both of the sites where I uploaded the pre-patched hack are dead, guess I have to make a new patch. Pretty sure I still have the files, gonna check later when I get home.

EDIT: Added a LayeredFS patch to the OP, hopefully it works, can't test it rn, I have no idea where my 3DS' charger is. The romhack was made with the EU version as a base, but it may work with the US version too, just try changing the titleID in the luma/titles folder from 000400000016A600 to 000400000016A900

i wonder how you changed the music without the game crashing since whenever i try to put custom music the game would just crash and go back to the home menu (after the 3ds reboots)

If I remember correctly, it used to crash for me too at first, but I think @Rohul1997 helped me with it, forgot how though.
He also made a tool that allowed me to edit textures.

Found it! Turns out I still had it in my 3DS folder on my PC ^_^
The attached archive contains the batch file which will convert your .WAV files to .BCWAV which will be playable in the game. I believe I had to mess with the length and bitrate of the tracks before they would successfully play in the game, but I don't remember exactly, it's been over 5 years now. You can try checking my converted files and copying their length and bitrate and seeing how it goes, you should figure it out through some trial and error.
You have to place Convert.bat in a folder together with ctr_WaveConverter32.exe (and the required DLLs), which I can't provide here due to those being files from Nintendo's SDK, but Google should help.
Once the folder looks like this, just put your .WAV files in the same folder, run Convert.bat and everything will be converted and moved to the "bcwav" folder.

Good luck! :yay3ds:
