Create a backup before you make any modifications (clean).Should my original NAND backup be before the first-time setup or after?
Hi guys. When I hacked my switch earlier, I followed a guide online and used a PC Program called Zadig or something to get my Switch connected to my laptop to launch ReiNX. Thing is, I recently got a new laptop and I don't have that Zadig program on this one. Does anyone know what guide that was that I followed or can someone point me in direction to get my new laptop setup for Switch hacking? Help and thoughts greatly appreciated
Use FAT32.My switch serial number xaw4000686xxxx firmware 7.0.1 using ReiNX
After run TegraRCMGUI | Windows inject payload my switch now black screen and unplug and plug-in cable not detected by windows
You don't install CFW on the Switch. CFW is just a bunch of files on the SD card. Plus all CFW are launched using the same exploit which is known as Fusee Gelee. This is the best guide for Atmosphere in my opinion.Well, now that Team Executer website seems to be down, I guess it is time for me to move to something else. It has been a while since I used my switch, still on 6.2 firmware. Do I need anything new to install Atmosphere on my switch or can I use the injector and jig I have from OSx? Also, there are so many guides around it is a bit confusing, can someone direct me to the latest guide that is trusted to work?
Are you using FAT32 with a cluster/allocation size set to 32K or default?Another question, I just installed FW 6.2 with ChoiDujour on a 3.0.2 system, via RCM.
I clicked on the 6.2 exfat button first, so it installed the exfat update for 6.2? Only then I clicked the normal 6.2 button and chose installed the 6.2 FW right afterwards, no reboots or nothing.
Then I was prompted ot reboot, but after the reboot it wasn't booting into the system anymore, only showing the SX boot screen, then a black screen.
I figured it might be the old boot.dat that was compatible with 3.0.2, but the 2.6.1 Beta boot.dat didn't make a difference it seems.
I can still get into Hekate and when I insert my other eMMC board I can boot into my 3.0.2 OFW just fine.
It's just the eMMC board that I upgraded to 6.2 with Choi that now doesn't boot it seems.
Is there something I can do to fix it from RCM for example?
Your license is tied to your console. Unless you swap out the motherboard, the license will always be active for your Switch.Hello guys, I haven't used my Switch in a while and was looking to update my FW and CFW. I currently have SX OS and I've looked up how to update my firmware, but I wanted to start from Scratch and delete everything on my switch. I was going to format my memory card and reset my switch to factory settings.
My question was that even if I back it up will this give me any problems with my SXOS license? or will putting it back on the memory stick just work as expected?
Thanks!
https://gbatemp.net/download/nspverify.35153/What should I be using to verify NSPs are legit (from CDN) and not custom (NCA's)? I currently am using Switch Backup Manager and NX Game Info, but they are giving me different results for a few NSPs (for a few NSPs Switch Backup Manager is claiming they are custom created (converted XCI), and NX Game Info says they are structured like a CDN and have valid certs that pass). Can anybody advise in this situation? Thanks!
https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...nofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/Hello so I have a switch and I have 2 questions. First I believe it is fully updated and the dock suffered from the BLoD. Will the xecuter sx even work at this state? Thanks for any info
Did you transfer over the Emutendo folder from the 200 GB SD card to your 400 GB SD card?Hi, I have a 200gb microsd card with EmuNand installed on it.
Today, I bought a new 400gb microsd card to replace my old 200gb microsd card.
I backuped the files from my 200gb card, then I installed SX EmuNand on the 400gb one, and finally I transfered the files back.
The issue is when my boot my Switch with the 400gb card, it shows no games (except Tetris 99 which I downloaded on SysNand), and an error pops up instantly : "The microSD card is being used by another Nintendo Switch console or was used on the console before it was formatted. You must delete the Nintendo Switch data on the card if you want to use the card on this console."
I guess it is because the EmuNand partition was based on the new SysNand which contains no games except Tetris 99, and it's complaining that there's a lot of new games on the Emutendo folder which are not supposed to be there.
My question: is it possible to somehow restore my games without having to redownload them one by one since I don't have the .NSP files anymore?
Thanks!
Did you install the corresponding update data? Background: I went through a pretty weird week at first my game had an error message then I antecedently deleted the ticket which messed it up further than I got the game to load again by redownloading it using tinfoil to turn it into standard crypto.
Problem: I tried to load up my save but it said "Unable to load save data as required downloadable content is missing" so I downloaded all the DLC I had beforehand but now when the game starts up it freezes at the checking for DLC screen. What do I do?
The Kosmos updater application updates the entire package which includes Hekate. Hekate is special in that you can update the bootloader with the update.bin file which automatically chainloads the latest version downloaded on the SD card.Quick question, updated my Switch with Kosmos (actually thought I was just updating the Kosmos app but whatever). I have the Hekate 4.6 payload on my phone, however when I booted it the screen says Hekate 4.9.1. Can someone explain? It it necessary/recommended that I update my payload?
Sure.I have a US NNID account linked to my Switch.
Can I link a UK account to a different USER on the same switch?
So I have both funds to add at my disposal? and can keep on switching to use different pieces of software?Sure.
So that's the best app to verify an NSP, or are you recommending like a "tiebreaker"?
Yes, the Switch supports multiple Nintendo Accounts on one system. I don't know of the limit however. So I have both funds to add at my disposal? and can keep on switching to use different pieces of software?
Personally I don't verify a single .NSP file I download/install. The chances of a malicious .NSP file is vastly over-exaggerated and now that people know they exist, certainly some people will take the time to vet the files they host. This is the only other tool dedicated to .NSP verification that wasn't mentioned. One of the issues with .NSP verification is that there is more than one way to build a working .NSP file and depending on how its built can actually impact what CFW it is supported by. In order of most support to least, the order is SX OS, ReiNX, Atmosphere + Sweet Patches, and Kosmos. So that's the best app to verify an NSP, or are you recommending like a "tiebreaker"?

Use FAT32.

I know the non-standard crypto gave you problems before but it might be worth giving it a second shot.Yes, the game won't load up unless you have the latest update. That update was supposed to stop the game from freezing at the DLC screen but it doesn't seem to do that.
Dock is only for playing the game on a TV. Also all CFW are capable of piracy, not just the paid SX OS.Sorry but I’m a little confused on the response. Basically I’m wondering if I can use Xecuter SX on my switch without a dock and if so how easy is it to intially use and would I be able to play rips/releases of eshop games? Thought I read someone where it’s just for retail games so just double checking thanks
If you only want to boot Hekate and always update with the Kosmos Updater application, then yes. Otherwise you would have to update the payload in nearly every other scenario. So no need to ever use a different payload file then?
Thanks for your help.I know the non-standard crypto gave you problems before but it might be worth giving it a second shot.
