Hey guys so a while back I got a Supercard DSTWO for my 3DS XL but most of the time I always get this error "An error has occurred press and hold the POWER button to turn the system off. Please refer to the operations manual for details" on my 3DS XL. Now idk if its the cartridge or the 3DS (XL) but it works like 1/8 times but I always have to blow in the slot for it to work now idk if its the cartridge but I noticed there's a little screw on the back, maybe if I tighten it it might help? But I'm asking am I the only one or is anyone else having this problem? I need to know did I get a lemon or is there a fix for this thanks.

Is your case actually brown as depicted in the above photo?
My DSTwo has a black case and others that I have purchased for friends also have black cases.
Are you sure you a genuine DSTwo flashcart?

Do other flashcarts work in your 3DS XL?
Does your DSTwo work in other DS systems?

You may want to backup your memory chip and format it with the Panasonic SD formatter (avaialble here on GBAtemp) and then reload it with known good files.
You may want to reflash your DSTwo but only as a last gasp measure as that is very rarely the problem.
(I have fixed several problems by simply formatting the microSD properly and reloading the files.)
FYI - New chips straight from the factory often are not formatted according to the industry standard.

Don't bother. It's a contact issue, with teh new DSTWO batches. Everyone has the same problem. No amount of formatting/re-installing stuff will work.

DSTwo forums are actually full of these kinds of reports (I myself have had quite a lot of problems like this) and there is no official answer. I guess it can be a software problem (firmware-wise) or a card problem related to the contacts.
Try indeed to tight the screw up and check it out.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
