Probably because of concerns over lag.Going to leave a personal disappointment here:
Why aren´t the Splatfests global? For me it was pretty obvious that Dog/Rock/Rice would be the winning options, given the regions. If it was global, it could be a lot more exciting. I think Dog would win, but Japan has a lot of players and I´m sure a lot of them would vote Cat. Pop vs. Rock would also have a good struggle globally.
New splatfest is coming up soon.
ftfy. It's the reason I didn't play.It was rock.
Now if only Nintendo would get the fuck off their asses and do some actual effort to make Splatoon a better and cheaper game I'd appreciate it.
It's getting cheaper relative to the content in the game thoughftfy. It's the reason I didn't play.

Team "it is a good Nintendo game and it is never going to happen".Team "Hoping the game to be $19.99"
I'm not going to pay $69.99Team "it is a good Nintendo game and it is never going to happen".
It's more competitive than regular battles, and you get a prize depending on how well your team does. Other than that, I guess it's not much different, but it's still pretty fun.Can someone explain what's the whole excitement going around Splatfests?
Since I got worn out of Splatoon in no time I dropped my interest and went back to MK8.
It's South Pole vs North Pole this time around in Europe. Tough choice, I went with South Pole because of penguins.
Penguins > SantaBad move. You are now on Santa's Naughty List.
