Hey @Yudowat, how can I edit ctr_collision_bin? I'm trying to swap the platforms on WW to the Omega version so I can have the the platforms without transformations. The model and textures work fine over Omega WW, but the stage collision is still Omega WW. How can I completely port this?

I have absolutely 0 idea. I'm gonna get into model stuff soon enough, but at the moment it isn't my thing.

No cuz I ported the model.mbn and the normal.bch, and they work fine, but collision doesn't work. Maybe it's in param or ctr_collision.bin can be altered with smashexplorer? Also how do I edit files in the param folder? Zero idea. Smashexplorer? Animcmd does not like those files (it crashes)

I might look into music sometime soon, probably just a param edit, but we'll see.

it literally is as easy as a param edit
i did it and i added a costume for diddy kong.
it's literally the same thing as adding a new costume for smash wiiu lol

however, same as the wiiu version, I've got no clue on the limit of extra costumes.. I doubt it's different than the wiiu version, seeing as the parameter bin is like.. the same lol

Yea, I already figured that the max costumes is 255. (it's in hex and you got 2 spaces for it. FF=255)

I dont usually edit params, but the one I have was the CSS page's one. that was just done in a hex editor but i don't know if there's a better way now or not... @Mr.ButtButt ?

I'm talking about stuff like landing lag, run speed, fall speed, weight, character attributes, like stuff TS4M's done. The problem is, HE WILL NOT RESPOND TO ME ON YOUTUBE OR TWITTER!!! I can't get ahold of him for the life of me! Geez! Anyway, seriously, everyone seems to be able to edit param files so easily, and I don't even know how.

Yea, TS4M didn't respond to me when I tried talking to him about 3DS things either. I guess we'll have to figure it out ourselves.

yeah. I'm making little progress.
And, no. It's okay, I'll eventually work things out somehow xD either with someone's help, or hours trying to figure it out myself.

I used the guide for the wiiu version. If you're gonna edit parameters for the 3ds, try and find an equivalent for it in wii u guide.
