Gaming Skyward Sword Demo has leaked.

I'll say Predator did nothing wrong at first. The article is relevant to the discussion and he didn't throw it in anyone's face, he made a single post about it. However, reacting in the way he did, especially while representing a well known website, is immature and unnecessary. I sincerely hope whoever is running Zelda Informer takes notice and removes him from the staff. He clearly isn't making Zelda Informer look good and doesn't seem to understand how to handle even minor controversy.

On the other hand, a good many of you overreacted to what he posted in the first place. This is a thread populated by primarily Zelda fans, and I'm sure quite a few of them would be interested in reading the article. Aside from that it was also related to the subject of gathering information from the ISO itself, another discussion going on within this topic. The small bit of "spoiler" that he posted, if you even want to call it that, in no way relates to the story, the items you collect, or anything else that would be considered a spoiler under any other circumstances. You should really read over your posts before hitting the submit button and consider the situation at hand before attacking someone without reason.

Just to inform you guys - the full game text dump has been extracted from the ISO. We are currently in the process of going through it. Massive spoilers etc etc.

Once we have the full analysis done it will be posted on www.zeldainformer.com

We have most of the story figured out, as well as all the items and upgrades. This is confirmed to be the best Zelda ever.

Hard mode confirmed, no hearts appear, you have to rely on potions. Won't spoil anything else here, keep your eyes on the front page in an hour or two.

More so you said its been dumped from the ISO. Did you guys rip it from your press copy or... Has it leaked on its own probably?

I was the one who ripped it. I extracted and wrote a program to convert the game files from the leaked demo to txt format.

of course i do not have the full game, it was pulled from the demo, if you click the link you'll see the whole image, don't know why it cropped it so ugly.

well i don't know if its that difficult to find the script. its in the EU\object\en_GB folder in the .arc files it seems. its in hex, but the hex translates to language quite easily. im using the szs modifier for mario kart wii.

Heh I did the first time I came across the thread. Playing around with the demo was fun though - glad I didn't have to make a trip to NYC to do so

Can't wait for the full game. I guess we should have a leak by next Friday at the latest (since that's when the PAL version is released). I do have my limited edition on preorder too though

Since it appears that all of Skyview Temple (not only the latter half where the demo starts) is on the demo disc, has anyone bothered trying to enable the door from room 05 (the demo starting point and main hall) to room 02 (some sort of atrium) yet?

I give it 48 hours. Probably honestly more so a solid 30. I'm kind of willing to bet money on it.

Worked for me in NeoGamma using the Hooktype OSSleepThread - it'd probably work in USBLoaderGX too, but I couldn't figure out how to set hooktypes in there. It'd probably also work w/ SNEEK too
