So, anyone savvy with ".brsar" files? One of the files I extracted is almost 600 MB. We have 600 MB of potential music in that file! If only I could figure out how to extract that kind of file. All the brsar extraction tools I've found so far don't seem to be working.

p1ngy warez is different from torrents.

But okay.
Torrents as a torrent aren't illegal. Torrents with copyrighted material are illegal. Same as warez.

There's a chance I missed something, I didn't see the original post, just wanted to clear this up with everyone else asking.

Finished all three parts of demo. I'll be honest. Wii motionplus controls don't exactly grab me, especially not the bird part. Feels pretty ehhh. Was slightly impressed with the the way sword is handled. Hitting in the directions you want works perfectly... when you're hitting air. It doesn't work the way I want when I'm fighting enemies. Everything else is top notch tho, both graphics and presentation are ace and feel improved from previous Zeldas.

I'll give it another try tomorrow, hopefully it gets better.

Will this demo play on a PAL Wii?
Yes.

Anyone hack it to not time out after 15 min?

Haven't seen anything yet on any website. I'm wanting it a lot also, so I can actually take my time and enjoy the demo without worrying about running out of time.

If it's the same as Rhythm Heaven Wii then try using Ripping Mama if you haven't. Just download it and then drop the brsar file on the exe and it'll extract rwav files. Then you have to use Wii Music rip tools to get those to a mp3 or whatever, I'm trying to remember how I did it exactly while getting the iso myself. (But that brsar file is bigger than the Rhythm Heaven Wii brsar which was only 323 MB, so it might be different.)

I can't get this up and running on any of my USBloaders. Can someone help?

USB Loader GX, Force NTSC video, FAT drive from a WBFS file, otherwise default options.
Works without problems for me.

Ah, thank you! I knew something wasn't right. I didn't drag it over the .exe file. (Derp, I'm retarded)

bah you pesky kids with your USBloader GX. I've been using 3 versions of wii flow (two 2.1s and a 1.1) no real change settings cause you can't change settings..

They haslve dedicated on board chips that aren't tweaked like x64/x32 afaik

but its a custom os for both of them

    designed for only specific hardware

so you have to learn to emulate that specific hardware which isn't as easy as you'd think

They place married security chips onto boards iirc

  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
the ps3 used to support installing linux because the cpu was so powerful

At one point PC game pads where poorly supported, loading a game had setup, it was complicated. Now it's almost as easy as a console.
