As the title say, sky3ds with a 256 mb class 4 memory card with jap cubic ninja on it, n3ds 8.1j.
When I turn on the console the cart led blink three time but cubic ninja don't show up.
Same cart with cubic ninja eur, o3ds 4.5eu led blink continously but game don't show up.
Can be a memory card problem?

try ejecting the sky cart while your 3ds is ON and try this a few times, should get it working.

when transferring new rom image do these steps.

1.) turn 3ds on and wait for it to boot up the menu ( with all the icons including empty cartridge spot)
2.) put the sky3ds in the card slot DO NOT PUSH IT ALL THE WAY IN YET!!!
3.) make sure the blue button is held down you should be able to feel it click on your nail/finger tip.
4.) with the blue button pressed in push it in all the way while holding down the blue button ( MAKE SURE IT DOESNT UNCLICK KEEP IT PRESSED IN) ONCE CART IS PLUGGED IN LET GO OF BLUE)
5.) the sky 3ds light wont blink at all or it might mine doesnt ( if is doesnt thats good.)
6.) now eject sky3ds normally ( dont have to hold button or anything)
7.) put card back in normally and the light should flash rapidly.
8.) eject card one last time after lights stop flashing rapidly
9.) re-insert sky3ds normally and it should show your games.

you have to do this everytime you transfer over new games or else they wont show up/ sky works weird.

ALSO NOTE WHEN PLAYING A GAME AFTER YOU SAVE AND ARE FINISHED AND CLOSE THE GAME AND GO TO THE 3DS MENU PRESS THE BLUE BUTTON EVEN IF YOU ONLY HAVE ONE GAME. THIS WILL MAKE SURE SKY3DS WRITES THE SAVE FILE TO THE SD.

I HAVE HAD IT ERASE MY NINJHAX SAVE ON ME BY NOT DOING THAT.

sorry for the caps but thats pretty important when saving. not sure you have to do this but its a safety precaution as ive read others losing MHU4 save data.

hope this helps you out.

Yeah. You need a 2GB mSD card for the Sky3DS. Just cramming a trimmed ROM isn't enough. You'll need the extra space so Sky3DS can write savedata to the mSD. I've tried using a 1GB with a trimmed ROM and no luck. Must at least be 2GB. Especially when using Cubic Ninja.

You trimmed your Cubic Ninja with ROM-TOOL before writing it with Diskwriter, correct? Otherwise, how the heck did you get it onto a 256mb mSD for the Sky3DS?

Get a bigger mSD for Sky3DS.

cubic ninja rom weight is like 120mb, i have 80mb free on the microsd, however i'll try a 8gb one and a 16gb lexar c10 300x, we'll see... thanks

Edit: got it working with a 4gb card, but when i start the game it show a black screen with japanese text and HOME wrote on it.... what is this?

Edit2: rebooted a couple of time and now it work fine :P

That Dell data breach is worse than people probably realize....
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
When I worked for Dell we had access to data about military contracts and addresses for high ranking people.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

  • NinStar @ NinStar:
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
