i went ahead and tried it with the weird ip and it worked anyway. Thank you for the heads up about skype, that was the problem.

Updated the troubleshooting to note that 10.x networks would work as well (up until now I wasn't aware of any home devices that used them, but again I've never dealt with an airport).

I have another problem now. Ever since I demonstrated it will not work with Skype up, it stopped encoding.
Here is what I typed into CMD:

C:\Users\Randall\Desktop\GTS>sendpkm.py Shaymin.pkm

C:\Users\Randall\Desktop\GTS>

It just skips to the next line, any remedies? Thanks in advance

Run sendpkm.py by itself and see if you get anything. If not, try logging out and back in.

Sigh, I'm back at school and using a different internet connection that is giving me trouble. Sometimes it lets me into gts and no pokemon arrives, and sometimes it just gives me the 5xxxx error and wont let me connect. I'm using a sprint 3g wireless hotspot--will this not work?

My problem is that the black box instantly vanishes and I am running on windows 7, I typed in CMD and hit enter, from there I typed in CD Desktop and hit enter, after that I typed in sendpkm.py Celebi.pkm which was the pokemon I wanted, and then it said there was an error ImportError: No module named pokehaxlib what should I do?

Do you even have the file pokehaxlib.py in the same folder as sendpkm.py. I would suggest making a separate folder for these files along with all your pkm files. Try it again, if it doesn't work: Post the FULL CMD output text here, and I'll (or someone else here) will take a look

Sigh, do your work and try it at home. I used to play Pokemon during school (never again). I couldn't recall what was said by the teacher, and some teacher may go as far as taking the DS away and having parents pick it up.
If you did everything correctly, then a wireless hotspot will not work

Nvm, I got it working...I just downloaded the .zip (again) and extracted it
