Hacking Rxtools sysnand + sysupdater = Brick or profit?

The error message I get is something like

Install failed!
Could not install app.
Raw Error: 0xc8a0802b
Module: AM (0x20)

Don't have the exact numbers for the error message as I don't have my ds with me right now.

Anyone know what that means?

Have you created ticket.db in the right place and let the 3DS repair it? That step will be in the guide.

Cool I will try that out and see if it works. Just out if interest which fw is better for my sysnand. .4.5.10e or 9.2? Will the choices effect me being able to run any homebrew / or any legitimate backups I have?

Hey so I just installed the newest rx tools with pasta and I am trying to upgrade to 9.2 however I am on a 2DS 6.0.0U and I do not see the Dev mode option in the RX bottom menu. Can someone help?

So it's the latest nightly build, eh? I don't see why it wouldn't have Dev Mode in it..
Why don't you try a build that you know has a working Dev Mode? Try the 3.0 Alpha build on Github.

The later 3.0 rxtools builds launch from rxtools/sys/code.bin. There's no Launcher.dat/rxtools.dat involved.

AH I SEE NOW! I SEE NOW!!

You have to press and hold L when rxtools is booting! That'll bring up the rxtools menu!

Fuck them, they're natural on an emunand (which isn't what you're supposed to be booting on anyway)

I also can't find the 2DS firmware files on that iso site... I can only find New 3DS and 3DS

Don't worry, I used them when I upgraded to 9.2 a few weeks back, and it was all fine.

So you where just using the normal 3ds ones correct? also now I know I am update but still can't find dev mode
