Hi, so my wii drive is kinda old, and I want to preserve it as much as possible. I know USB loader GX has a feature to rip your own games for backup. But is there a program on the PC that allows this? that be really useful and easier on my wii drive. thanks.

It takes certain PC drives and the right software. gamecube discs use a non-standard file system or something else I forget.

You need to have a specific LG drive, I think that might only be for Wii games.

I might be able to get my hands on one of the LG drives that can read Wii/GC games. Let me know if you are interested.... I've used it to rip dozens of Wii games flawlessly.
