You can get Nintendo Fan Network for free and it works.
You dsi with any game by injecting an exploit game into it.

You can inject whatever into it and it will boot, but it won't transfer. The .app file is too small.

Any (legit) dsiware title that is large enough can be overwritten with an exploit game because Nintendo's security has that many holes at this point XD

there are plenty of other games you can still use. there are several very cheap ones available as well.
