I edited my post to be less spammy. Sorry about that. I can't play Bomberman games on it so it's not worth it in my opinion.
you can perfectly play all 3 bomberman games on wiiu n64 inject they work perfectly :P i made some custom injects and installed them on my wiiu like normal VC games :P

Just out of curiosity is there any "faq" page for the wiiu retroarch stuff? For example performance of cores, help setting up, etc. I don't check the forums super frequently, so it's really difficult to navigate through 10s of pages at a time looking for posts that are relevant.

Is there a way to make a installable channel with the rpx files?
Yeah just download and install this file with Wupinstaller y mod:

Until I make an "official" version that will maybe make sure your cores are up to date, I made a RetroArch Channel you can download here - http://www.mediafire.com/file/h8bso6s87u1ls38/RetroArch_Launcher.7z

It works with the new system, so you must have cores in the sd:/retroarch/cores folder and the info files in the sd:/retroarch/cores/info folder.

Also, if you installed the Libretro SNES9x Channel I made, you must delete that first, since this uses the same Title ID.

I updated to 1.5.0 latest nightly, deleted the configuration.txt I had before hand but after booting it I get stuck in the main menu and it accepts no inputs neither from my Gamepad nor the Pro Controller. What gives?

Have you tried 1.5.0 official instead, and not a nightly build?

Just tried it and same thing. Actually I updated to 1.5.0 from 1.4.0 because I had the same issue of no controller responding. It was working before but hadn't picked it up since February. For display, I am using just the Gamepad, but it probably mirrors the TV right? Considering the menu is there.

No luck with either the Gamepad or the Pro Controller in the stable buid and I deleted everything before copying to the SD, so no configuration.txt

Very strange, I'm on 1.4.1 and it works flawlessly. What method are you using to load? I recommend using either Haxchi/CHCB or the HBL as a channel to load.

hey folks, I want to use 4 wiimotes with the snes games. Is it possible?
I ask that because I paired one wiimote and it worked with Bomberman.
But when I try to use the others wiimotes it does not work....
Any tips about what I am doing wrong?

I got Haxchi + HBL

now that I'm looking at things, there's a folder on the root of the SD called "controllers" and has a bunch of configuration files. Example "0F0D_0011".

Not sure where that folder came from..
I'm reformatting the SD card and see if that helps.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space

@rqkaiju2, Physical media is a great source for archiving your data, none of that cloud storage shiz.
