ROM Hack [Released] Bravely Default/Second Uncensored

I wonder if anyone has the hex codes for each of the DLC outfits so we can hexedit in the outfits for everyone at the beginning of the game for Bravely Second.

Bravely Default's guide was no problem, and I'm sure the process is the same for Bravely Second but I just don't know the hex codes!

In case anyone was wondering, if you wanted to inject the outfits for Bravely Second: End Layer, you can use similar instructions as Asia81's super helpful post.

Simply use a hex editor such as HxD, open your BD2GAME0.sav in the hex editor, and amend the following codes to the end of the block of numbers starting at location:

0000170003

This is where the inventory offsets begin!

Each of the following codes give you 1 of each. Change the "00" to "01" to get 3 instead of 1, or "02" to get 5.

If you are concerned about violating your religion, you will be glad to know that the standard, unmodified base game censores the costumes of the female characters to show less skin. So there is no need for this patch if you are a Muslim, it's only for degenerate atheist people like myself.

You should be able to tell how to write it by looking at the line up to it

I am not a good English speaker, so I used a translation tool to post this. Maybe that's why you didn't get the message, sorry.

Starting at 0ADD1D14, the type and number of items you currently have are listed in the order they were obtained. If you scroll down from there, you will find a place where 0000000... continues. I think you can do it from there by typing in what I posted before.


For example:
↓(This is my case and the location of 00000... depends on the number of items in the data)

04~05 is the type of item and 00 in the next line is the number of items you have. The maximum number is 63 (=99).

In the example, you can get one new Silver Sword by entering 1E for 0ADD1F14, 27 for 15, and 01 for 18.
You can also get it by overwriting the item from where it already exists, but this is not recommended as it might change the category and cause an error...

I noticed after I posted that you asked if the code was correct, but I have no idea how to write the cheat file (or how to use it in the first place)... I was rewriting it directly from CTRPF's Hex Editor.

Thank you very much for this; unfortunately I can't make it work on Citra because, as you said, I don't have the full cheat file.
If I'll buy a new 3DS (mine broke a few weeks ago...) I'll try to do with CTRPF.

I read in a Japanese site that the codes you are missing are supposed to be:
8EDAC0 = Washcloth
8EDF20 = Bravo Bunny
8EDF00 = Knight's Tunic

But it also seems like the order of the hex codes in that site is reversed compared to your post.
For example, your post says Scholar's Gown is "20 DD 8E 00" but the Japanese site I found says it is "8E DD 20".

I don't know if maybe Japanese hex editors enter numbers from right to left and that's why it's in the opposite order? Or maybe the Japanese save file itself is inverted?

I found them on a website called "web.save-editor"

Let me know if they work!
