Currently the All Items cheat gives 950 of each. Total Festival Coins also is set to 9,999,999. I'm looking for new values to set these to. I'm thinking 100 for the items and 250,000 for the Total Festival coins. I would appreciate suggestions or justifications for replacement quantities.

First of all, im completley unsure on if I'm posting this on the wrong thread (biggest newbie ever!). If so, please direkt me to the right corner.

To explain my situation:
I purchased a N3DS roughly 2 months ago. I also purchased Pokemon Sun and Moon along with the 3DS.
After playing through Pokemon Moon completley, i want to do a second run with Pokemon Sun.
Now I would like to install SUMOhax onto the device to do some crazy stuff on the way.

I currently have the following Hardware at my disposal:
New Nintendo 3DS with a 32 GB MicroSD Card
Macbook Air (yes, yes I know.. why the hell would you buy a Macbook... it was a gift from my Parents and I have to make the best of it :-)

What I would like to achieve:
Due to that I'm a complete Noob to CFW etc.. I would love to see some sort of Tutorial on how to set everything up. Step by Step.
From installing a CFW to installing SUMOhax and running it on the 3DS. (if possible, not with 5 different videos directing me to different videos etc. etc.)

If it's over 11.2, good luck; you'll need it. Maybe wait till December 29th before you try CFW?

Hey guys, I checked the firmware on the device. It is above 11.2...
@H1B1Esquire is there a newer version of the CFW coming out or how am i supposed to understand you "wait till December" message :-)

You're welcome. 11.2.0-35 is one hell of an update, but I'm hoping, maybe, 33c3 provides a new way of downgrading.

Don't you hate buying something, throwing out the receipt, then seeing the same item go on sale the next day? That's essentially why I told you to wait--Soundhax was released, but it's just for HBL; for what you want to do (sumohax), you're going to spend a couple hours setting things up. There's a chance you can save a few hours if you wait a little.

If you can't wait, there are people who could do the whole process for you, but you'd have to work something out with them.

Why not max them out to the game imposed limit of 999?

I haven't used the all items cheat yet but I'd be down for 999.

I rather not, have at least safety buffer.
Get annoying in game when you can pick up items and having to put it back due to full inventory

I vote not max values, I personally prefer options for incremental increases.

Items: 500
Coins: 5,000,000
Reason: As far as I know, there is no need for them to be higher as the codes can be reactivated when items/coins are low, and, as was said by someone else, seeing the "You cannot carry any more of this item" message in games can be annoying, but 100 might be too low for the items, as it would be kind of annoying to have to reactivate the code too frequently.
