I tried that trick (read it on another forum) but it doesn't work for me. When I run them from BigBlueMenu, I get the black error screen (an error has occured, etc...)

Mmmmm, are you sure that the games you are trying to run doesn't require a higher FW version? check 3ds.essh.co . or try with an old jpn game like the new super mario bros 2 for example.

GBA games require between 2.x and 4.x (I tested Metroid, for example, and it require 3.0)

I tried a japanese DSiware (Phantasy Star Mini Zero) and it worked fine with that one (but I launched it from the icon as it's a japanese one, I'll try to launch it from BBM to check).

Or if they should work through BBM, mean the cias I have might been not dumped correctly.

MD5 of Metroid Fusion, for example : d25b9394b97365c979ab93baed2423a0

Edit : I confirm the DSiware run fine from BBM.

It wasn't labelled with the region but from the thread name, I assume it's the US version.

Edit : Finally found the japanese versions, and they work (didn't tried yet from BBM but they work when I launch them from their icons).

Thanks for your help :)

Edit 2 : Managed to boot a EU GBA game from Devmenu so the ones I had were probably bad dumps.

I have some questions about the compatibility with firmware version:
1 - Does anyone can confirm that games with firmware <6.x firmware spoofed works on fw 4.x?
2 - All games with fw 7.x or higher, firmware spoof doesn't work?
3 - Can I play for example fw 9.3-9.5 games with Pasta 9.2? I guess because they use 7.x encryption?
4 - Is it possíble to firmware spoof doesn't work with any game even it has 5.x or 6.x?
5 - While lastest games released have 7.x encryption will they work on pasta 9.2?

Thank you.

I'm new to this, but I'll try to answer your questions.
You can run firmware spoofed CIAs and they'll run on 4.x. If you're using the O3DS, you can't run 9.3-9.5 games without an Emunand updated to that version, but Pasta doesn't support Emunand right now (maybe in the future). Not all games use 7.x encryption though, only a very few do. See this list: https://gbatemp.net/threads/7-x-encrypted-games-list.381053/

By the way, about the "connection failed" error. If you are sure the IP is the right one and that your 3DS is connected to internet, just run the "run.bat" file again. I reinstalled everything on another SD Card, got the error, just loaded the "run.bat" file again and it worked the second time.

Good, Now we must wait for the pasta update so we can play games that need higher FW.

Sorry I did not go through all the pages, but if it hasn't been answered, will this be ported to 9.2 N3DS in any near future?

Why with an O3DS we need an emunand to run 9.3-9.5?
Anyway I have a 3DS XL, even with pasta 9.2, 9.3-9.5 CIAs won't work?

Because 9.3 firmware patches the exploits needed to run Pasta CFW.

As for 9.3 to 9.5 CIA's not working on Pasta 9.2 it depends on the game, if the game uses features or commands only available on 9.3 - 9.5, then it won't work.

I don't really need support for games with higher support personally (I have a Gateway), but yeah, if it can happen, it would be cool for other peoples :)

Just plan to use it to play GBA VC/DSIware games, waiting for Gateway to support them.

I'm using PBT right now to install legit CIAs. Pasta does the same thing (installing legit CIAs on sysnand), right?

Yes, but the run.bat thing through IP won't work (since Pasta doesn't support it) I believe. You have to install DevMenu and then use that to install CIAs.

Hold L after you clicked on "DS profile" but quickly. The white screen should appear near immediately.

If you hold "L" before you click on "DS profile", probabilities to make it work will be pretty low.

This is not absolutely true. But if you like it, continue doing it.

I aways start pressing the L key just before tapping on DS profile, thee boot rate doesn't change.

Thanks nop90, your PBT mod helped me to be able to install a compatible browser version for ninjhax.
I now have 9.0.0-20E xD

You're great. Keep up the good work ;)
