Good tool.:D
@AboodXD Aren't you interested in a bfres file?
Even if I'd like to do a texture hack, a renewal of a tool stops.
I'm in trouble because there are no tools which can be used in any bfres files.

It was based on Nintendo Land. :/

It doesn't work with most games...
It crashes Super Mario Maker...

Also making a BFRES Extractor of my own will be... hard...

I usually use TexConv2, BFRES Extractor, and a hex editor to edit BFRES.
This is a very hard way, but I'll never rely on TexHaxU. :/

GTX Extractor v2.2.1 was just released!

Changelog:
  • Added a safer version called "gtx_extract_nomipmap". Sadly, it doesn't generate mipmaps (hence the name) due to some technical issues.

GTX Extractor v3.0 was just released!

Changelog:
  • A lot of updates! :D
  • Merged gtx_extract with gtx_extract_nomipmap
  • Removed the dependency for PyQt5 and PIL, which saves A LOT of space.
  • This program converts .gtx to .dds now, instead of .png, which saves us some time and the trouble of decompressing the texture. (If compressed) And which also let us add more formats now! (BC4 and BC5)
  • No more changes will be done to this program, because it's pretty much complete and it seems like it doesn't contain any bugs.
Feel free to report bugs, as there are no know bugs ATM.

Tested with Ubuntu 15.10 x86 (32-bit), works like a charm! (Runs even faster than Windows 10 64-bit :P)

GTX Extractor v3.1 was just released!

Changelog:
  • Added a minor feature where the program tells you if there's something wrong with your file, instead of just crashing like TexConv2.
Download (64-bit).

Feel free to report bugs, as there are no know bugs ATM.

It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
