For the record, <$60,000/year is not a "cash cow" especially for a software engineer who is making history and could very well lead wii u emulation (citra is estimated to be worth MILLIONS of dollars and is completely free). If exzap was truly greedy, he could make the whole thing pay to use only. The situation could be wayyy worse if they're using cemu just to make money (they could even have a system like JohnGBA and DraStic too).

http://cemu.info/faq.html says that although it's not currently suppoted on platforms like yours, it will be worked on in the future. stop bitching about it if you're not going to listen to people trying to help you, telling you your system isn't supported yet.
To be fair drastic is running on mobile and was built from scratch so I feel in my opinion that the developer had the right to charge for it.

Seems like it's pretty much confirmed at this point that 1.5.3 is releasing tomorrow. Meh, I can easily deal with that. I'll be testing out Rio 2016 again using framebuffer 33 to see if anything has changed graphically, probably not though.

how am I bitching
idk what your first line says.
The entire conversation with FFM where he told you your os isn't supported and you said you just weren't going to use a supported os and that it should just work perfectly even though cemu was built for windows but I also didn't read everything before I posted so idk.
@The Twig league I had no idea about the history about either, I was just referring to lite versions lol

the first line was a mistake

and I never "bitched", I was simply trying to get it to work. He told me to use winblows, and I kindly rejected his offer
I thought it should work just fine because it uses opengl, something which is directly supported on linux unlike directx. Directx through wine can have a lot of issues at times

... Are people really this impatient? Public releases are scheduled about every ~3 weeks and it's been that long so it'll come soon enough. The best way to wait is to forget about cemu like I did, move on with my life, and come back when the release time is near. No need to be antsy about an emulator.

Stupid question to be honest with you. Wii U is 100 percent playable and perfect. Cemu have a lot of bugs and I mean a lot!
How is that a stupid question?
I'd recommend building your own pc. Great PC Games + very good Wii U emulation in the near future (seeing as how progress is going).
Wii U is about 250 here, with 200 you can buy an amd 480 graphics card, which means high settings 1080p gaming.
Excellent gaming PCs are becoming extremely cheap. And buying a Wii U a few months before its death is nonsense IMO.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
