I had this problem when I had a wii u console too, strange. Best thing to do is use one trigger and one shoulder button, not sure it can be fixed as the issue is (was) on wii u too.@Exzap Have you seen my message about the problem of Trigger Xbox360 LT and RT ?

We found a small problem with the Xbox 360 trigger (to version 1.5.1), the trigger ZL does not work if we remain pressing on ZR,
For example, in Mario Kart 8 if we hold a banana remaining press ZL and we jump with ZR, we automatic drop the banana.
Edit: with ZR = RT xbox trigger
and ZL = LT xbox trigger
