Done.Any chance you could PM me the save this happens with? I have an idea what is wrong, but none of my saves have the issue.
If it exports saves un-encrypted, yes, it will work just fine.is there a way to use this with save data manager?
Hello everyone, I wanted to know if any of you had managed to find the offset for levels/stats of the characters. For Tiz there are already some discoveries but for remains arghf.... Thanks in advance for your answers. chào
Hi, since it is written that red Gateway is required, I take it that the editor cannot be used with sky3ds?
I only own N3DS XL with firmware 9.4 so I can't use Gateway...
I have my .SAV file backed up from my sky3ds.
Is there anyone here willing to help edit my save file and inject villagers into it, please? (Or is it even possible to be done to edit .SAV exported by sky3ds?)
It seems impossible for me to leave my 3ds on sleep mode all the time just to wait for the building time...
Thanks in advance.
I don't know if Sky works, but just download the program and try it with you sav, if it works congratulations if it doesn't you might try to find a way to launch hombrew
Well I renamed my dumped save file to COLONY0.SAV and tried opening it with the program. I don't think it worked properly since the villager count is shown as 500+.
Btw, sky3ds only dumps 1 sav file with the game name. So i don't know if its contents are the same with the COLONY# files in the tutorials.
From what iI know, N3DSXL with firmware 9.4 cannot use any CFW and homebrew right? Or am I missing something?
Then no, you need different files when dumping the sav.
I really don't know if you can install a cia or something of OOT, Cubic Ninja or Iron Fall and try the different haz that smea has available.
Just a comment about the villager thing... if you are just needing villagers, a much easier solution is things like HomePass, giving you TONS of Streetpasses in no time.
However, I maxed both Bravely Default and Bravely Second using nothing more than Streetpassing myself (2 3DS systems) and the daily Update (3 online "streetpasses") in quite decent time. If you use good time management, it really is plenty fast, giving you access to everything in good time. (It's pretty good practice for managing simple things. A lot of you could probably use the experience to get past the "Want it here, want it now" mentality.)
The big thing that would affect the game would be unlocking the DLC items (both Default and Second) and getting Unearthly Buns (In Default; pointless in Second as you can easily farm them and quickly).

Okay I think my save file is still encrypted. Is there any 3ds save decryptor for windows since I can't use savedatafiler?
Or is there any save data at new game with multiple villagers for USA region? I only found a save with 131 villagers but for EUR region.. I'm only about 2-3 hours in, so it is fine for me to restart from the beginning for the sake of those villagers.
Any help is appreciated.
Edit: found usa region saves. Will try it tomorrow. Hopefully compatible with sky3ds..
Edit2: okay it didn't work. I tried asking for help in the Noob paradise, hopefully somebody can help me...

Gateways backup from a retail cart does not decrypt the save, so you need to do another step.I've tried doing this twice, but both times it corrupts my save. I'm using the Gateway menu to back up and restore my save from a US retail cart
