well, same result with 0.1. i tried 0.3.1 again. this time i can get it to play both screens, but now it shuts off after the animations..Assuming 30 fps and a 4GB file size limit the limit would be 497 seconds. Of course, that's a bit ridiculous.
@Shirako what are you talking about? The animation included in the distribution is about 4-5 seconds, and you can build your own if you want to

v0.2 as well? Try creating a small 10fps animation and try v0.1
It really is awesome to add some life to the boot screen, just haven't tried it yet because I'm still thinking what I'd put there. Expect a similar explosive response once the audio stuff is figured out.Funny to think that the project has gone so far in less than 24 hours . BTW, I'm looking for someone to maintain a 'Custom Boot Animation' thread.
Whoever's interested, please PM me.
Shutting off is completely unexpected. Try another 'arm9payload.bin'well, same result with 0.1. i tried 0.3.1 again. this time i can get it to play both screens, but now it shuts off after the animations..
i'm an idiot. just realized i deleted my bootloader while messing around. works perfectly now.Shutting off is completely unexpected. Try another 'arm9payload.bin'
You're the second or third guy as of today. That's why I put it in bold in the OP. Guess I'll put it even bigger now...i'm an idiot. just realized i deleted my bootloader while messing around. works perfectly now.
fair enoughYou're the second or third guy as of today. That's why I put it in bold in the OP. Guess I'll put it even bigger now...
you could always convert an animation with a nice fade at the end, but I see where you're coming fromI think the animations fading to black would be softer andmore pretty.
You need a fork with screen init enabled. Aurora's fork disables that(read ".../tree/noscreeninit"), hence why the AuReiNand payload also doesn't show the splash if you have Aurora's fork. The precompiled version of Delebile's fork in Plailect's guide has screen init enabled and will work with this.Tried all versions. None worked at all.
O3DS with this fork of A9LH installed

No 3D bug for me.Nice project!
I use AuReiNand as my CFW. If I replace my A9LH with one with screen init so the animation will show, will that bring back the 3D bug in reinand?
