I have a question. When making the CIAs, what Title IDs should we NOT use?

Don't touch it unless you know what you're doing. Title ID is properly randomized from 'safe' range.

So now ive made some progress, now it will say the turn 3ds off error so thats better than just two black screens
*Edit got gba games to work now, why do they need to be installed into sysnand also?

It looks like it had to be on sysnand and emunand for n3dsxl's. Also I just followed this thread. With the exception of using mini pasta instead of pastacfw.

Why does gba roms have to be installed on sysnand and emunand to work, mine are unlinked from each other? I had pokemon installed on emunand and only until i got it installed on sysnand too did it work in both

Probably because AGB_FIRM hasn't been throughly reverse enginered and they can't redirect all the NAND read/write operations to the SD card.

One last question, why do the gba games take so long to load on n3ds? On my o3ds i felt like they loaded up much faster

Well I don't know. I guess both load at the same speed but you got spoiled by to the fast game initialization of the N3DS.

I deleted the nand file I was told to "and yes I checked it 10 times and it WAS the right file) and when I go to install the cia I get an error saying SOURCE_FSFILE_WRITE (0x1c)

U need to be in "ADVANCED" rxmode to install a unsigned cia also not required for RxTools latest nightly
