This is great and all, but, where's the original Read Dead Redemption on pc? Does this mean we have to wait for a 10 year anniversary for the full Read Dead series to be re-released in a compilation, because rockstar still haven't figured out how to make games for the world's largest gaming platform?

I'm not buying it, they always do this just so you can buy the same game twice. There's no reason for a game to take so long to released on PC other than to milk you for your money, especially when PCs and consoles now use the same hardware.

Finally! Me and some other people will eventually have the opportunity to see if this game will run on Ubuntu GNU/Linux (and possibly other distros) via Proton since it will be released on Steam. The more games that can run on Linux distros at all, even if Windows-only, the better. ^_^

Lol this is either a joke or an unpopular opinion. But we're all entitled to one.

Otherwise I'll totally grab this game on steam even if it means my PC will explode.

It's actually a very popular opinion.

It's one of those games that people either really like and love everything about or it's a total let down for them. I know several people who can't say a bad word about it, but I also have several friends who played it for a few hours and sold it calling it a boring native american simulator

In the first three chapters or so, it was absolutely boring for me. If I hadn't continued, I would've said the same. But further playing with figuring out the game mechanics and going deeper into the story, it got marvelous by and by. I think most people didn't like it because of this, they didn't give it a chance further than what you would expect would be enough of a chance.

For example there's many characters with well written personalities, and you won't be able to remember all of them in the first quarter of the game.

Huh, I may actually get a temporary Stadia subscription for this one - my PC is kinda weak for modern vidjas, so that's at least some way to experience the thing .u.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I don't know. People hate and down vote everything nowdays. I see it especially on gamestores, like every game has a negative rating, even though they are good games.

1st video- That's why I hate ordering stuff online, if I can just go pick it up myself nearby. Wal-Mart online did that to me years ago, sent wrong item, I went to Wal-Mart by me to return, but noo, I had to mail it back and wait.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
99% of the time ordering online I have had flawless experiences, only time something was messed up, I ordered a big TV from Amazon and it came smashed the box was literally like some one jumped up and down on it, didn't even open it, contacted Amazon sent them pictures, they made me open it and take more pictures, free label to return it and they sent another. So it was relatively painless. But still annoying.
