OP
I'm thinking of buying a new gaming laptop. My budget is $2000 AUD and I want something which runs any game at 1080p 60FPS. I have my eye on the Dell G15 Ryzen Edition because it's just within my budget and is recommended on a recent article published by PC Gamer. Is it worth it? Is there a better deal out there?

Be careful with Dell, they’re known to be dodgy when it comes to buying stuff on their site e.g. sneaking insurances in.

In general dell consumer grade (Dell Inspiron and XPS) computers suck compared to their business class computers, Optiplex. Dell use cheap quality parts so they get you to buy their insurance, that is how they make money off you.

Check the reputable sellers like Asus for the price you are willing to pay. After that compare them and decide what feature you value the most, f.e better graphics card vs lower battery life
