Read Indicator missing from Recent Content sidebar

Before the board upgrade to v5, there was a read indicator present in the Recent Content sidebar html that displayed thread titles with unread content bold and thread titles with no unread content 'unbold'. Now there is no such indicator anymore and every thread title is bold, even if you read it. Please bring it back.

I would like to get that back too. This helps to see what is already read and what is not.

we made all thread bold for design purposes, but there can be another form of indicator.
I was thinking of a tiny icon indicating unread posts
