Well, I meant that if I downgraded to 9.2 I would obviously want an EmuNand. How do you use at as a payload? I can only find it as a 3dsx+sdmh

FYI, I want to use it to extract some keys for potential later use.

Why do you want an emuNAND? There is no reason to have one, it causes problems and has no benefits EXCEPT if you want to region-change it and have two different regions on the same console.

I didn't mean that. I meant that IF I were to downgrade to 9.2 for convenience I'd want an EmuNand so I can access eShop and also to have another NAND to screw around in and try stuff.

I have Luma installed as Rosalina.

Well, I mean is it SAFE to downgrade from 11.5

And if possible, a link to a tut for 11.5, because all the ones I found for 11.4 or .5 are either useless (redirect me to 3ds.guide which doesn't have instructions for downgrading) or require a torrent client.

You can download the 9.2 cias from 3DNUS and install with sysupdater. There is absolutely NO reason to do this though.

Well, I actually sent it to a guy who did a hardmod for me, I'm learning soldering, but I don't want to put complete trust in my skills.

I'm just poking around in 3DNUS, how do I download a firmware? What should I enter for the title id?

Enter the full version number with the dash and the part at the end. In version put the region (EUR, USA etc)

Okay! Thanks. It crashed when I tried, but I think that's because I put "U" instead of "USA."

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Well, whenever I try to download, it crashes and creates two items, one empty folder named 9.2.0-20 and a file called titlelist.csv, even though I checked "Pack Into CIA"

You don't need to do that anymore. B9S boots so early that you could literally trash your NAND files and still recover from it. Or you could get a flashcart for NTRBoot and basically be able to recover from any brick (minus the MCU brick.)
There's no reason to have an emuNAND, not even for hardcore testers. There's no reason to keep 9.2, as you can use NTRBoot to recover from anything or even use a hardmod to recover your system.
You seem to be applying a lot of old school logic that simply isn't needed anymore.

Not that anything has happened, but if I send my 3DS to Nintendo for repairs (not under warranty, obviously) and I have boot9strap installed, will they even be able to detect it, or will I be able to "hide" it from them? And if I do have to send it in, if they do discover it, would they delete it or just keep my 3DS or something? I just want to know this before I do it.

you would need to basically uninstall the cfw. They will be able to detect it and they would send the system back as is and refuse to do any work on the console.

If they discover you have CFW they would just send your console back unfixed or ask you to pay for repair. They won't keep it. I don't know if they can tell (I doubt they'd check every console's firm partitions that just comes in for a normal screen or whatever repair). Just make sure to copy boot.firm to CTR-NAND so it can boot without SD, and keep your SD at home.

I know that the 3DS officially supports up to 32GB SDHC cards, but I saw someone say something about a 128GB card being used. I can't remember-maybe he was talking about using it with a Flashcart, but do bigger cards work? I'd be glad to dig around for a certain model confirmed working.

Yep you can use 128GB cards, you just have to format as FAT32 to get the 3DS to read them. Things may be a little slower with big cards but not noticeable enough to put most people off.

Does slightly smaller stuff like 64GB work? It's a bit of a stupid question, but I don't want to find out my new, expensive card doesn't work.
