1)Is there anyway to play Playstation 1 games that are from different region (NTSC-J game on a NTSC-U PS2 in my case, original discs).

2)My PS2 is only soft modded with no chips, is there anyway I can get a cheat code (i.e. PAR, Gameshark) working with PS1 games on the softmodded PS2?
