When I got mine, the L and R buttons were silent when pushed in. I was messing with my friends 3DS (His is a SM3DL one) and his L and Rs clicked when I pushed them in. I'm just wondering if all the Fire Emblem 3DS' have silent L and R buttons or if It's just me?

If it's just me I'll probably send it to Nintendo. Because it honestly bothers me that much.

To clarify, I'm talking about this:

Not the game.

It's true! Some 3DS systems have clicky shoulder buttons, some have ones that pretty much don't make any sound. Nintendo's been known to sneak little revisions into their systems' manufacturing process as time goes on, so there might be very tiny differences between you and your friends' systems. I'm a bit of a freak about these things myself and noticed this too, and I assure you that you have nothing to worry about! :P

Another example of this could be found in Nintendo DS Lite systems. Earlier systems had D-pads that made it sort of difficult to register diagonal button presses (Up+Left, Down+Right, etc.), but later models fixed this.

Anyway, don't worry! There's nothing weird about your shoulder buttons!

Mine makes a slight noise, not sure if i would call it a click tho.

It's more of a sound of the buttons being used.
My FE3DS system is in the same boat. I can hear a slight noise, but it's definitely not clicky enough to be considered... clicky. I think my dpad is more clicky than my L/R buttons >_>

Alright. Apparently it's that way with almost all of them.

Thanks for the feedback. I was just worried my L and Rs were borked.
