Is it possible to download games without the sd card. 2 is there a freeshop for wii u in homebrew. 3 can u install games from the USB

Technically, you can absolutely download games without SD card (by using wiiu usb helper). It's just that you can't install it on your wiiu without an SD card.

Oh, and the elephant in the room: yes, you can download and install games directly onto your wiiu. It's done by this controversial act of actually buying the game from the nintendo eshop.

1) Yes, Wii U USB Helper or New NUSGrabber
2) No, it don't actually exist.
3) By using the FAT32 version of Mocha CFW, you technically can.

If you're using Mocha FAT32, it's also important to note that you can only install to sysNAND, and that you should unplug any Wii U formatted drives while you're installing something from the FAT32 drive.
